I feel like it's the complete opposite. Donaire is FAR too hittable to beat Hamed. I think the mid 90's Naz would fuck him up badly.
This would be a terrible fight... Two guys who like the other guy to force the action so they can capitalize on the potential openings... This would be like watching paint dry, horrible style mesh I agree with Hut in principle but I also think that Hamed doesn't necessarily have to make it a fire fight... He may be able to touch Donaire up enough with his weird, freaky shots here and there and get a bit more work done in between long stretches of feinting and pawing and staring... tough fight to predict... Donaire would land an eye-catching shot or three also, maybe he catches him with his feet tied up together and scores a knockdown that alters the scoring in his favor? I don't know, but because of the styles, I have a difficult time seeing a conclusive victory for either guy, regardless of the official scores
I'd probably favour Gomez over Donaire but not with great confidence. Both guys would get hurt in that fight.
I think Donaire/Gomez is a pick-em... Gomez would need to fight a real disciplined fight because he can only take so many punches from Donaire
Donaire is a greater fighter... But I think he gets hit way too much beat Hamed at 122.. I can see Hamed having problems but he'd get alotnof shots in and I think he'd take Donaire out in about 7 rounds.
