I think Crapnelo stops him late. Angulo is shopworn, and wasn't exactly Roberto Duran to begin with. I'll be hoping for Perro to knock him senseless though/

REED is VERY Tempted to Pick Angulo to UPSET Canelo...

Not Because Angulo's ALL That (He ISN'T), But Because of Canelo's Flaws, Chief Among Them his SPURT Fighting & SHAKY Stamina...For Better or Worse, Richer or Poorer, Angulo BRINGS Consistent Aggression for the Duration of his Bouts...Unless a Guy MATCHES it, EXCEEDS it & BEATS It Out of him, as Kirkland Did...

    Canelo's NOT that Guy...

Canelo's HANDSPEED & SUPERIOR Boxing Acumen will Result in Beautiful, Multi-Punch Combinations...He'll Hurt & Possibly Even FLOOR Angulo...But The Question Is, WHAT Happens when Canelo Looks to Take a BREAK???...

REED Likes Canelo by Stoppage in the 8th or So...But it'll Be a Tough, Hard, Life & Death Fight that Golden Boy DIDN'T Expect it to Be...

the real question is what happens when angulo hits alvarez in the mouth with harder punches than he's ever felt before in his life

An Angulo upset certainly wouldn't be the biggest upset of all time.

Paddypower has it as the first and only one so far. +200 by decision and -175 by KO.

I admittedly have only seen Angulo the once against Kirkland and he looked horrible. Heroin addicted sloths move their hands faster than he was managing that night. Canelo at least has pretty decent handspeed so I'd expect him to win handily. Is it fair to have that impression of Angulo or does he generally perform better?

Sometimes he's looked a bit better than that but that's basically him.

I'd say it's a fair impression of Angulo. Obviously he's going to look better destroying scrubs, but yeah, he's not very good and has very slow hands.

Canelo really isn't all that. I wouldn't be surprised if Angulo beat the shit outta him, but, my pick is Canelo via late stoppage or points.
