It was a very close fight. I had it even, but the british commentators think Herrera was robbed.

    Thoughts.

I thought Danny won a close fight. Herrera mostly wrestled.

IMO Garcia came with no fight plan except KO which he tried without success for the first six rounds. Herrera's style gave him more problems than anyone else he has faced in the past.

I doubt Garcia will be interested in fighting him again. Nothing to gain out of that situation.

Herrera has a victory over Ruslan Provowhatever, the other division champion, in his resume. He is a tough cookie, but like you said there will be no interest in a rematch.

Herrera can't punch but he made Garcia look like shit with his craft. Basically showing 'swift' has zero chance vs mayweather jr

Danny looked very uncomfortable last night. To Herreras credit he had a very awkward crafty style. Supposedly Danny was having trouble making 140, That can affect a fighter as we seen in the past with other fighters. He has ZERO shot against Mayweather though.

My thoughts on the scoring- I honestly thought Garcia won a very close fight. Some rounds were extremely hard to score.

No he doesn't. Provo was robbed blind in that fight. Put it this way, Provo beat Herrera MUCH more convincingly than Garcia did last night.

For the record, I think Danny won. But it was close, and he looked like shit.

I agree X. The fight was very close. I had a very hard time scoring some rounds. Question. Do you think it was Herreras Style that made Danny look bad? Or could it be that he struggled making 140?

Garcia did not trained properly for Herrera because he was not a name fighter like all the others he has fought in his last few fights. Was not motivated. Even his dad was giving him shitty instructions in the corner, They had no plan and it almost cost them the title.

Garcia got a gift last night. He had no fight plan made no adjustments. He was out hustled out toughed out jabbed. The question is did the challenger do enough to take Dannys belt. DSG lost though. I'll Holla 5000

Nobody needed anyone to show that Garcia has zero chance against Mayweather. I think even Garcia knows this.

Garcia deserves a big payday against Floyd more than Amir Khan or Maidana. Of course is just that, a big pay day with zero chance of winning.

Well Bigdawg, if Herrera did indeed get "robbed" last night (which he didn't), then paybacks a bitch, because Herrera got a BLATANT gift over Provo.

I had Danny winning 7-5. The best I could see for Herrera is a draw.

Whilst on the other hand, I struggle to see how Herrera won more than 1-2 rounds off Provo. That was a TRUE gift.
