Anyone see this past weekend's card. The main event had Palhares winning via knee bar against Steve Carl to take the LH belt. And Palhares let the hold go as soon as the ref jumped in. No controversy.

But for me, the most impressive fighter on their roster is their first Bantamweight Champ, Marlon Moraes. Every time I see this dude fight, I am more and more impressed. Obviously the level of competition is minimal in WSOF but Moraes is easily one of the Top 5 bantamweights in the world.

Palhares is a POS after the guy taps he yanks HARD again..watch it again..and the ref had to pry the hold open again...Piece of shit.

I agree. Palhares did it again. It's like he is programmed to be a fuckwad.

I hate the guy because he is a roid piece of shit and a dirty mother with his unsportsmanlike bullshit. The Drwal fight was worse than anything I've seen since, and it was so bad he should have been banned for 5 years if not longer.

But I will admit that I am fascinated by a guy who can win so often with the heel hooks. It's such a cool move. And I like that he is short for the weight class. At 185, he was extremely short. At a less-juiced 170, he's still very short. I think UFC used to say he was 5'8", but WSOF had him at 5'7".

yea, not sure what is deal is. i also thought it was a late stoppage. either way, he sure knows how to get that heel hook time in and time out. looks like he gets the foot/ankle a lot easier and faster at 170.
