    i thought jones CLEARLY beat gustaffson. there are other contenders waiting in line, so i dont know why jones gets shitted on for not giving gus an immediate rematch. just because a champion doesnt dominate the fight doesnt necessarily mean the it warrants an immediate rematch. i guess a lot of people dont like him and want to see him lose?

    Funny how the fight with Gustaffson has become something different in retrospect. While Gustaffson might clearly have won the first 2 rounds, neither were one-sided beat downs where Jones was close to being stopped. In fact, I think Gus was given more credit than deserved because he exceeded expectations and Jones didn't dominate as he normally had.

    First, it was a GREAT Fight...Shifts in Momentum, Blood, Primarily STAND-UP...2nd, Jones was RENOWN for Dominating Opponents...When that DOESN'T Happen & when the "Dominant" Fighter FLIRTS w/Losing, it's Justified to WANT to See that Matchup Again, Immediately...If Jones Gets By Texiera w/Little Fuss, the Gustaffson RE HAS to Happen Next...

    A lot of people thought Gustafsson won. Wasn't it 1st 2 to Gus, probably 3 to Gus, 4 pretty even and 5 to Jones? I thought you had to be generous to have Jones winning.

    Hendricks won the first 2 vs GSP, but then probably lost the last 3. I'm remembering that one better so I'm not positive I have the Jones fight correct, except that I did think Gus deserved it.

    Jones beat Gus legit. If you thought Gus won you would have him winning rounds 1-3 because there's no way in hell he won 4 or 5.
