As if they're really necessary. It's almost a given Floyd wins. I think the only question is, does Chino go the distance or nah?

I think Floyd is due for a stoppage. He's back down to 147, where he has a bit more pop than he has at 154.

    Floyd late TKO.

Mid rounds is possible. Maidana has zero D, an average chin, and Floyd's incredibly accurate, and still very quick handed.

mayweather jr will obviously land his best shots on the guy from the outset and will be able to hurt him. whether he puts punches together will be the main factor as to whether he takes maidana out. i expect he'll try to do so, but if maidana is still around after the 8th then mayweather jr will either have at least one sore hand, or he'll just decide to coast it out

Floyd could probably stop Maidana in six rounds if he went for it, nine rounds tops, but I don't think he will. He will just play it safe, go home with 12-0 and whine if somebody criticizes it. I won't though, since I have to respect his mastery

So you think Mayweather will take the easier way of winning by knocking out his opponent?

Marcos Maidana is TAILOR MADE for Floyd Mayweather...

Floyd Will Look SPECTACULAR Early, Perhaps HURT or DROP Maidana...But Like Neil Alluded to, if Maidana Shows his Usual BRAVERY & HEART, Refusing to Be Stopped, Floyd will COAST After the Mid-Point of the Fight...Maidana MIGHT "Win" 1 or 2 Rounds, Based on Floyd Playing it SAFE Late, but BEST CASE Scenario for Maidana is a 10-2 SCHOOLING...

From Day 1, REED has Called This is a SHIT Matchup, Which it IS...Beating Adrien Broner, The NONSENSE about how "Improved" Maidana Is, Nor Showtime's Version of "24/7" Can ALTER That...SHIT Matchup...

Perhaps THE Most Glorified SPARRING SESSION Boxing Fans Will have EVER Seen, 1nce You Factor in just How MUCH Floyd will Pocket...He'll LITERALLY Be LAUGHING All the Way to the Bank, After this Bout...

Floyd by TKO if he keeps his foot on the gas, UD if he coasts. Latter seems more likely. A younger Floyd would stop him in 6 rounds tops.

I'm with neil on this one... Floyd could stop Maidana but I think it's more likely he hurts him a lot but cruises to a UD by virtue of his hands bothering him... he won't take an unnecessary risk by stepping on the gas

I agree with Loadedgloves that a younger Floyd would stop Maidana, and there's not really any doubt about that.

Maidana might last the distance now because Floyd doesn't open up as much.

If there is one guy who doesn't care about style or patience to set up his shots, or how many rounds he is losing is Maidana. It will be exciting for about 3 rounds. The moment the fight gets to a pattern, Chino has to reboot and shake things up to make it nasty, or else he'll bleed a slow death, but that is so unlike Maidana, that's why a stoppage for Floyd is very possible.

But the smart bet here is on the long shot...

    Great great GREAT Fight

Maidana is no joke.. he is the real deal and when it's all said and done he will be in the HOF.

Maidana is relentless and he will not stop.. busy, with hard shots..

Maidian prolly beats everyone out there except Floyd but Floyd is just on another level. He will make Maidana wish his name was madonna and he was living in a material world cuz he is material girl

This might sound far fetched or strange but i really believe shortly after this fight Maidana will decide to become a woman. He will get a boob job and prolly some operation to get his dilz and turn it into a cooter.
I'm not sure if he will legally change his name or not but he will live as a woman and prolly be a guest on some cooking show where he makes some pie or cake

He's a cunt and so is his bankrupt pal Stan Shames.

Paddy would probably offer you 9 to 6 on Floyd being shot from the stands.
