I don't know if anybody wants to give the heavyweights a chance anymore but this was worth watching. An exciting, very brutal all-out war. Not the most skilled action ever, but as far from Klitshkos fights as you can have

The HW division could get fun once Wlad retires.

I watched the fight. I like that he's trying to box but god damn, the WBC heavyweight champ is a poor man's Shannon Briggs.

Arreola was beating his ass till he got KO'd. Not Championship material. Look for an easy win from Wlad to be the super unified champ.

Guy's got good power and hand speed. And he's fun to watch. Like too see him fight Wilder. Don't want to see him fight the cheating cunt Wlad. Wlad wins by cheating. Without cheating, he'd be k's easily by just about anyone.

Will be interesting to see how Wilder does when he steps up.

No he wasn't. Teddy Atlas was screaming his lungs off, but to me it looked obvious that Stiverne was pacing himself and concentrating on the big shots and let Arreola flail away. Arreola did his best trying but he just isn't very good, not that Stiverne was anything special either

I think that's bit harsh. Stiverne is definitely not very good, but he is able to fight and punch relaxed (from the back foot, too), seems to have legit power and is deceptively quick, and his punches are difficult to see because of his relaxed shoulders. A guy like Lennox would naturally clown Stiverne with ease but I would pick him over Briggs who had plenty of physical talent but no fighter's brain at all
