Spinks could handle Marvin, how would fare against Glen?

Spinks would beat him up worse than Hopkins did, and stop him.

    Johnson wasn't even a homeless man's Qawi.

He was like a little hut in Africa poor man's version of Qawi.

If Jones wasn't shot when they fought, Glenn Johnson would never have a name in boxing.

This is a guy who lost to Omar Sheika.

    Beat Michael Spinks? Yeeeaaaaaaa.... no.

Yeah but what of his subtle jabs and skillful integration of pressure and defense, X? After all, this is a man who took one of the most celebrated fighters of a generation in his prime and through a combination of balls and sheer ring genius, utterly befuddled, dominated and punished him ... How can Spinks deal with that?

Spinks never dealt with a guy who tried to get close to him and punch him really hard. The first time it happened he was knocked out by Mike Tyson.

You're right. Johnson would beat him up so bad, Spinks would be begging for a Tyson rematch.

Qawi was an offensive whirlwind. Johnson went life and death with Clinton Woods and lost to Wholio Gonzalez.

Spinks would kick the ever living shit outta him.

I think Spinks is overrated. He was just such a junky fighter to watch. At 175 the main thing he had going for him was height. But he was also a modern pioneer of stink. The Spinks stink.

Spinks was obviously a good fighter with a good right hand but man was he awkward and sloppy.

Spinks was a much better fighter than ANY of the guys Double idolizes, such as Oscar and Castillo.

Qawi was weary of Spinks' power once he tasted a few shots... That fight wasn't just dull because of Spinks
