50 Shades Of Grey

Sounds to me like she simply had an affair with a guy she was attracted to. And what the fuck is BDSM? Even Google didn't know what that shit was.

 

1 - '50 Shades of Grey' as a terribly written book....almost comical in places, but that's not the point. It's the content and more importantly context of what's going on in it that triggers off women's hamster-wheel.
And I very much doubt the content is anything like the prreviously written romance/sex novels.

2 - Worse thing is, their marriage was pretty much solid before she got hit on by this other guy - and this guy worked her for 8 months before she caved in.
And she knew he had a rep as a player from the outset.
Go figure.

She isn't a prude from what I can tell, and I've known them years, but from what he admitted to me, she wanted more aggression and 'take-charge' kind of sexual-stuff from him, but he couldn't initiate it (I guess you are what you are, huh?)....

Whether she got that idea from the book is a moot point: the fact is, she was reading it, and the other guy used that as an 'in'.

I'm sure pretty much any woman would cave after 8 months of being worked. If she didn't put a stop to it from the get go (which she could have through several means) it means she never seriously wanted it to stop. By the way a woman is more attracted to the player than the non player. That's kind of why he's a player, it's not an accident. Also all woman want men who are in charge, even if they're with men who they boss around. It's their natural position in the relationship, so obviously it's going to extend to the bedroom.

 

I pretty much always leave open the possibility that a story I'm being told is bullshit. Just because I respond to it or discuss it doesn't mean I totally believe it. True or not it makes for interesting conversation.

From what he told me, his wife pushed back throughout the 8 months and the period went something like:
* Initial contact, comment on '50 Shades' book and ensuing chat > 1 month gap > low-key lunch meeting / talk about book / pushing boundaries > 3 week gap > light 'proposition' (declined) > 3 month gap > lunch-invite declined (because of proposition) > 2 month gap > lunch-invitation text ignored (again, because of proposition) > 6 week gap > chance meeting at lunchtime bar - direct proposition: decision made / 1st-sex in marital home.
Fuck knows what this guy said to her at the bar to get her to cave-in, but there were 9 hookups in next 8 months before my friend got suspicious and found out about the affair a really horrible way.


You're 100% right about women being attracted to the 'Player' - even though they know what he's like, women are hard-wired to falling for guys like that.
That aggression, take-charge demeanour is what her husband couldn't give her - he didn't make her sexual-grade, so to speak...so she craved this guy who did.
And from being able to hack into his wife's TextFree application on the iPhone, he found out some real disturbing stuff: the other Player-guy's goal at the time of affair-blowup appeared to be getting the wife into a group-sex thing with another Dominant and his submissive.
After that he hinted of wanting to trade my friend's wife around.
