Let's be honest, nobody gives a shit about the card this weekend. Garcia and Peterson in showcase fights against two scrubs.

So let's just skip ahead to next week, and start discussing Porter-Brook.

The question is, does Brook have a chance? I think he does, IF he can hurt Porter, and keep him at bay. If not, Porter man handles him and batters him.

I think Porter will stop him, but best of all, I think it's gonna be an exciting fight.

    Porter TKO 8.

I lean towards Brook but take that as a token of how abysmal i think Porter is rather than a vote of confidence in Brook. Porter fights like Andre Berto, if Berto had just downed 12 pints of porter.

I agree tho - we're pretty much guaranteed some sort of excitement in this one.

Porter will be all over him from the opening round, and Brook will shit himelf in true Ingle fashion, and get beaten up.

Whilst Porter is HARDLY anything great, I do think he's better than Andre Berto ever was. That doesn't say much, as Berto was horrible.

Brook winning wouldn't be a shock. Paulie and Alexander had nothing to deter Porter with. Maybe Brook will.

But then again, if Carson Jones and Senchencko can hurt Brook, it's very much possible that his chin is mediocre and Porter can stop him.

It's a very good matchup, because it's basically the first big test for BOTH of them. I just think Porter is better, and will win.

Probably Porter by TKO in about 7 but that's not said with a great deal of confidence... Porter is pretty scrubby and clearly has exploitable flaws, I'm not 100% confident in Brook's ability to get it done

Porter fights like a pisshead and one thing Ingle fighters tend to be good at is countering overly aggressive fighters with bombs. Brook KO 5.

That's what i think in mind, OK?

I think Brook can kick his ass, and I am no fan of Brook. Kell is pretty accurate down the middle and that will be Porters undoing. Brook KO 7.

I don't think you can equate Brooks resume with porter (saying it's both guys first test). Alexander and Paulie are better than anyone brook has faced. And Alexander is a decent puncher.

Yeah there's really no comparison. Alexander would probably beat Brook.

Brook is just another Ingle scrub and he'll be exposed accordingly.

I had a dream last night Porter battered Brook in one round. Sent him to the deck a few times. Brook was all over the place.

Alexander is not a decent puncher, his power is well below average.

I like Brook better so I'll go with him. I can envision most outcomes, though, including either outclassing the other.

I think Brook will win, but without much confidence. Brook is a 2/1 dog so that's who I would bet on.

11/2 on Brook by stoppage. Good odds vs a guy who fights like a pisshead.

I dunno why, but I'm very excited for this fight. Both guys are offensive fighters, and it's very possible both have the power to seriously hurt the other. This is the second most compelling matchup of the summer behind Canelo-Lara.

Hopefully it's more exciting than Canelo-Lara.

    Which bleck guy though?

The one who looks like Shane Mosley's cuzzo? Or the one who looks like a lightskinned brotha version of Prince Naseem?

Porter/Brook? I'm still getting over the suspense and excitement of Garcia/Salka.
