Now you're putting words in my mouth with that first comment, REED. When did I say I co-sign in ANY journalist going out of their way to take verbal shots at a celebrity ANYTIME? I didn't say that and I don't co-sign, but is it a completely uncalled for "verbal shot" to call Tyson what he is? He IS a convicted rapist. He's convicted of one of the ugliest crimes out there.

Also, I didn't say I blamed Tyson more than the journalist although the journalist isn't the one swearing on air, belligerent, or slowly losing control. Tyson is to blame for his own behaviour however. If I were to judge them solely on their behaviour, I would say the journalist asked a pointed question using language he chose in order to get confrontational, and Tyson responded poorly.

Also, the point about him saying "some shit" he would not have said to Tyson alone (It was the truth) is a bogus point. Journalists aren't supposed to keep from asking questions even if it makes their interview subject uncomfortable. It sounds like you're saying that if an interviewer wasn't willing to ask Tyson these questions if they were alone, then the questions shouldn't be asked. That's a lame argument because it's a fair question however it is phrased. The WAY it was phrased was intentional, and I totally blame the reporter for asking it that way. The question itself, phrased slightly differently, was a legitimate question to be asked when discussing Tyson's support of a mayoral candidate.
