not that it would have made much difference in reality if he'd done his job in an honest manner

WHat about your 30-something-and-over invisible intangible brother-love...didn't that kick in at any point you know, like the same way it would kick in if you saw Floyd at a gas station in Louisiana......????

I feel like Mayweather was happy to do the basics. If that was say Leonard in there he'd want to look spectacular. There's no way on Earth he will fight anyone who will pose him a real serious threat. Fuck him.

It was what I expected. Maidana landed some shots, though. And Floyd getting hit as much as he did clearly shows his decline.

But Maidana is too limited to have been able to capitalize on anything. All he could do was swing for the fences and hope for the best but that strategy rarely works.

I've about lost all interest in Mayweather's fights because he'll never fight anyone who's a real threat. It's all about keeping that 0 which means no Pacquiao fight.

He may fight Khan, though. Easy pay day. Floyd would have no fear of his power and he would just step up inside of Khan's range and break him down to the body and head. That's a fight Floyd would look VERY GOOD in I think because he'd be forced to be more aggressive and offensive minded.

Single well placed shots are the sort that would buzz Khan right up. Floyd is good at them.

I'll take that as a Yes.

Yes, Reed can;'t make an unbiased post regarding Floyd thanks to his intangible brother-love, as experienced by black men aged 30 and over.

    Surely you're kidding

The Showtime crew are a joke. Absolutely terrible. The worst bunch of announcers I've ever heard. They don't know what they're talking about, they sound like shit, and they are boring.

I've never rated Bernstein. He's always seemed clueless and annoying.

Paulie is their one saving grace, the rest of them are really rock bottom as far as commentators go.

Last Night RENEWED REED's Interest in Pac-Mayweather...Floyd's Legs & Stamina CANNOT Withstand Constant Pressure Anymore...Manny's SPEED, AGGRESSION, WORKRATE & UNPREDICTABILITY Would Severely Challenge Floyd...Showtime Should Settle for NATHAN Less than a Pacquiao Fight...

REED's NEVER Seen Floyd Look as VULNERABLE as he Did from about Rounds 4/5-9/10...THAT was Maidana's Chance to SEIZE the Fight, but his 1 Dimensional, PREDICTABLE Approach Wasn't Enough to Capitalize...

Last night made me realize I just want Floyd gone from the sport. 80% of his fights suck and are overhyped. This bs with the ref and gloves just shows how much power he has.

If he fights Manny (he won't) he will want a ring the size of a football field. 2 refs. Manny not allowed to get water in between rounds. Manny has to wear 50oz gloves. Manny to fight stoned. Or whatever other bullshit Floyd and that fat clown Elerbee can come up with.

Brother REED, I'm somewhat surprised to hear you say that.

I agree Floyd did not look as impressive as I thought but he clearly own and was never even hurt. On top of it, he showed he can still move with ease (too much maybe)

On the other hand, PAC got STRETCHED by Marquez lol

I honestly don't think algeri will be a threat, IMO PAC will look spectacular and the hype for PAC will be as high as ever but Floyd can still fight PAC and look spectacular IMO

EVERY Phase of the Negotiations Should Be Made PUBLIC...The Way to Overcome Floyd's Absurd Demands is to Publicly SHAME him w/Them...

Floyd was CLOSE to Being Hurt @ the End of Round 3, Brother LOK...STUNNED, BUZZED, Whatever You Wanna Call It...Lucky for Floyd, that Shot Landed @ the Very End of the Round, so Maidana Couldn't Follow Up...Also, Floyd's Legs Looked Good in SPURTS...He was GREAT for the 1st 3 Rounds, But Then was FLAT FOOTED, Being Bulled Into the Ropes (Again) & Breathing Out of his MOUTH from about Rounds 4-9...Then his Legs RETURNED for 10-12...Pac has BETTER/QUICKER Footwork than Arguably ANYBODY Floyd's Faced & Can SUSTAIN a Pace Floyd Doesn't Seem Able to, Anymore...If that had Been Pac Instead of Maidana In There, from Rounds 4-9, Shit Could've Gotten VERY Hairy for Floyd...

Not his best performance for sure but PAC is small and PAC is slowing down. I just can't get over that PAC was knocked out like a drunken bum

True. Pac will be on the receiving end of some vicious counters. Floyd is clearly past his best, but his sound fundamentals and defensive mastery will keep him afloat vs Pacquiao, who relies on explosiveness to win.

Seems kind of stupid to blame Maidana's "predictable" approach. If it were so predictable, pbf would not have paid off the ref and would not have barred maidana from using the gloves of his choosing.

Maidana, when Bayless wasn't separating them, was landing plenty.

If Maidana Had ANY Imagination in his Attack, he'd have @ the Very Least EVENED the Fight Out, During the 4-5 Rounds Floyd STRUGGLED...Regardless of Bayless...

Floyd AIN'T Big Himself, LOK...He Didn't Appear to Be Much Over his Weigh In Amount (146 1/2???)...Probably 150 MAX???...& Who EXACTLY Was it that KO'ed Pac???...A Certified SHARPSHOOTER Named JM Marquez...To Be Fair, Marquez Absorbed QUITE an Ass Whipping, En Route to Stopping Pac...It's NOT like he was DOMINATING Pac or Anything, Prior to KO'ing Him...

And Marquez transformed into a bodybuilder for the Pac fight. Dude was taking HGH and all sorts of sh*t like what Holyfield took inbetween Bowe I and II to get those big muscles and extra strength.
