At least 'Smallville' had Clark Kent discovering his powers. This one is mostly about a pre-commissioner detective Gordon dealing 'one-day-they-will-be-way-cooler-villains-but-now-are-just-uninteresting-criminals'. The fact that the trailer showcased a very young child Bruce Wayne and the next scene a very adult Selina Kyle made me lost the little interest I had in this. Besides, I'll wait and see if it doesn't get cancelled during the first season like is happening with most of the new shows (Almost Human, Resurrection, Believe, Ironside among others come to mind).
