If Stoke breached FFP they would not receive a 50 million fine. We're not comparing like with like. Stoke and Real are worlds apart.

Forgot about those clubs for a second, if Real received two or three consecutive 50 million fines it wouldn't take long for that to have a negative impact on their galactico policy.

 God only knows what FIFA thinks...

Keep it simple, Fines & Transfer Ban.

Fifa must enforce the rules. They let Barca off the hook this summer, if they enforced that ban I really think Barca would have struggled to quality for next seasons CL.

Banning them from transfers doesn't work, Ask Barcelona. They were banned from transfers, appealed, signed a fuck load, and now await the ban that will last just as long as the signings they bought to tide them over.

What does that have to do with anything? "50 million is nothing to Real/Barca/Shitty, etc" relative to all clubs not owned by zillionaires and/or Real/Barca was the statement made and I stand by it

Even here, you are putting up "three consecutive 50 million fines" and all it is doing is "severely hampering" their tendency to buy everyone in sight... They aren't going out of business, they aren't in a place where recovery will take a decade... They basically are in a position where they will have to rely on the huge stockpile of talent on hand for a couple of years before they can resume buying everyone's best players and sitting them on the bench

The point remains... These fines would not impact these clubs in a way that is negative enough for them to stop doing the things they do

@BoringMilner: I've just realised that we played Sheffield Wednesday on an actual Wednesday. You couldn't make it up could you.

"Boring" these days means somebody dependable who won't rape their kids and call it "Art". Insults have become compliments. I wish I was bored like James Milner. Don't you wish your bored-friend was hot like HAMESS MILNER...

I think both Manc clubs won't win this weekend. They will be involved in score draws.

I'm usually glad to pay it, they're the only public toilets that exist any more. It's basically either train stations or macdonalds.

Yeah, 20p at tube stations to use the bog. If they have no toilet roll I'm complaining.
