    I'm not saying this isn't true. I'm just wondering when has he ever displayed it? He's rarely given the vehicle to display any real acting chops. He seems like a good actor but has he even earned the right for someone to post such a claim?

    Why is everyone so shocked Lebeouf did good? Being an absolute dick of a person has no bearing on how you perform in whatever your profession is. There are tons of examples of this out there.

    Come on Hay. You have to be able to recognize the difference between an actors failure and the writer/director's. A young Al Pacino couldn't have saved those 2 films.

    I know, but it's hard to shake off a bad first impression. The kid has talent, but he's been tagged as annoying and prone to overacting. I think he did a good job in Lawless but frankly, I already lost my interest in him. I'll still watch Fury though, I wouldn't be surprised if I end up liking his performance.
