    What made transformers suck so much was the acting, direction and script. You won't have to worry about all that with the Avengers. It's not Michael Bay, it's Joss Whedon.

    You can see it in the trailers. Tony Stark uses his specially designed Hulk-buster armor to go mano a mano against Hulk, who apparently, from the pink-red in his eyes, is under a spell from Scarlet Witch (we see her doing that to Black Widow). Hulk eyes are always green btw so that gives that clue.

    The reviews are pouring...and they aren't so great. Right now, after 73 reviews, it stands with 81% fresh which is way below the first film's 94% certified fresh. Still the movie is already breaking records overseas, so reviews will not matter at the end of the day, except for moviegoers who might be a bit disappointed.
