Prime Vargas & prime Tito were both considerably better than Froch.

    This.

Froch is the classic case of a guy who goes from underrated, to people going so overboard to compensate that they OVERRATE him.

The Vargas that beat Quartey was P4P better than any version of Froch, and I don't see any LOGICAL argument against that.

  3. Neil

    Neil tueur de grenouilles

Froch is the classic case of a talentless, style-less vagrant

  4. Slice N Dice

Slice N Dice Big stiff idiot

I don't think so, and if they are, neither are "considerably" better. The fact is that whilst they are both more aesthetically pleasing to watch, there comes a time when results have to speak for themselves. Froch is effective, he gets results despite looking like shit.

Correct. Froch is a daft fucking farmer but he is bastard effective - one of those guys who you always expect to lose but 9/10 he doesn't and more often than not he wins well. It's odd.

Tito was very overrated but he was also a hell of a welterwight. The discussion between him and Froch seems a reasonable one to have. But I'm not buying that Vargas was better than Froch, P4P or otherwise.

Froch is an inferior fighter to Vargas.....not buying it.

The problem with some persons, is that they judge the worth of fighters more by their style than their achievement, by the packaging rather than the content.

Which gives ridiculous statement such as vargas is better than froch, or kessler is better than hopkins

Even if you try to make an argument for Froch being better than prime Vargas (which I think is a big stretch).

Froch a better fighter than TITO? Jesus fucking Christ, that's lunacy!

P4P, a welterweight Tito would light Froch up like a fucking Christmas tree, and all the farmer fans know this.

Yeah, but Froch throws jabs and I have heard on fightbeat that all you need to beat Trinidad is a jab and two feet

  10. Xplosive

    Xplosive X-MOD Bad Motherfucker

Defense helps too, if you're gonna beat Tito.

Too bad Froch can't spell that.

The Hopkins of Sept 29, 2001 would have made Froch look MORE inept than he made Tito look.

Froch is being INSANELY overrated right now.

This fucker got a gift over Andre Dirrell, and was 1 round away from dropping a decision to Taylor.

    cdogg187 GLADYS

Yeah, but didn't Trinidad get outboxed by Oscar DLH and Bernard Hopkins? I'm pretty sure that means he sucks and would lose to every one in history with a jab

Prime version of the Golden Cheek Spreader was a far better fighter than Froch as well.

He also got dominated 12-0 by Winky Wright, who is one of the most basic boxers imaginable, literally just a jab was used to completely clown Tito.

While im a big froch fan, and a long time tito detractor, i agree with you on this. Tito has became massivelly underrated

  17. Neil

    Neil tueur de grenouilles

trinidad did manage to beat the FUCK out of william joppy though, the guy who murderlized duran.

Which would have left him with one more loss to Taylor to catch up with Hopkins.
