    Lewis apparently had not gotten used to the high altitude in Carnival City.

    Rahman, who was from the USA, and who would go on to become the BRAND NEW CHAMP, had been there a lot longer, acclimatizing to the altitude.

    He was also a lot blacker than Lewis and didn't commit any faux-pax by hanging around with Winnie "Motherfucker of the Nation" Mandela.

    Consequentially, Lewis {who was in prime fettle, apart from not being able to breathe} lost.
