That forum is waay to big. You can post something and have it's on page 30 in 2 minutes. Mostly just immature assholes. But once in a while you get good info from there.
Yeah, it's too much. I can't even keep up with the play by play threads during fights. By the time I read one page, 5 or 10 more pages are there.
Dana White just sent TFK a text asking if was OK if the UFC paired Cormier and the Gus/Rumble winner for the interim LH belt since Bones in rehab.
Call REED "Naïve", but he's of the Opinion EVERYBODY's Cheating, in Some Form or Fashion... There's Simply Waaaaaaaaaaay Toooooooooooo MUCH @ Stake to NOT Look for Every Possible Competitive ADVANTAGE you Can Get, as a Professional Fighter...if, If, IF Jon Jones Is/Has Been Using PED's, it Really DOESN'T Affect REED's Opinion of him @ All, for Better or Worse... WHY???...Because REED's of the Belief EVERYBODY's Cutting Corners... If EVERYBODY's Going to Great Length's for that Edge, Does Anybody REALLY have a So-Called "Advantage"???...Other than the 5% of Athlete's that Actually TRY to Do Things the "Right Way"(as they Say), EVERYBODY Cheats...& that 5% RARELY, if Ever, Advances Beyond Mid-Card Status, in Today's UFC... Jon Jones Comes from a FAMILY of Professional Athletes...Older Brother, Arthur, is 6'3 & Well OVER 300lbs...Younger Brother, Chandler, is 6'5, 265..."Bones" Jones is 6'4, Walking Around in the 235-245lb Range...CUTTING to 205, for as Loooooooooooong as he's Done it, Requires SOME "Assistance", Quite Obviously... But Again, Even if Jones' Testosterone or Epitestoterone Levels are "Elevated" (Whatever the Fuck that Means), it DOESN'T Matter to REED, Because they're ALL Doing Dirty, Underhanded Shit to WIN Fights... REED:dunno:
His levels arent elevated, they are way low. Like should be in a wheelchair low. Which could be an indicator of a bad cycle.
He had the testosterone level of a little girl in the first test. Like he had come off a cycle and hadn't started PCT, or maybe was on some designer steroid with no exogenous testosterone. New steroids are invented all the time, things they don't know how to test for yet. His testosterone level miraculously recovered a few days later, but his epitestosterone was way above the top of the normal range. That doesn't happen with natural athletes. I'm not against steroid use (obviously), but I'm against cheating. It's cheating when fighters try to get away with steroids in the UFC.
It's not something that should ever, ever be conceded. Everything that a pro athlete stands for is gutted by PEDs. Don't make me hate you. I already have cuntdogg for that around here, haha.
Maybe he felt like he needed to cheat because he had just come so close to being defeated. He won and made it look easy until he fought Gustafsson. He won that fight too, but it was his first real war where he almost lost. I could see someone wanting an extra edge over their next opponent after that.
100% agree, and while I think it 's obvious Jones was coming off a cycle, I find funny is that most here consider that PED gives a huge advantages yet, even though that the testing is pathetic and really easy to beat if you cheat, they believe that most athletes are clean, even the top ones like Maywheater or Jones :wack:
Who believes most athletes are clean? The only way to get there is to have penalties so severe that it isn't worth it to cheat. Some of those 'penalties' should be the disdain of the fans. Otherwise, the fans are part of the problem. PEDs do give huge advantages. We all should know that by now.
REED's Seen 6'5 Before, but Jones is USUALLY Listed @ 6'4... He's NOT 6'6 & he's NOT 6'3...How 'Bout That???... REED:hammert:
This is a nonsensical question, but then the advantage would go to the cheating pieces of shit who have access to the better PEDs or who are willing to use PEDs in whatever reckless manner they can if it will give them an advantage over someone else. No one should be forced to take PEDs and yet that's exactly what the result is when you have anything but a hard line against them. Indifference not only equates to de facto support, but in many ways it's worse because it suggests that the issue doesn't have a right side and a wrong side.
REED's a REALIST... The REALITY is, PED's will NEVER Go Away...The Creators of them are ALWAYS 2-3 Steps AHEAD of Testing Measures... If Everybody IS Cheating, it's Almost as if NO ONE Is Cheating...Not Sure what's "Nonsensical" about That...If Guys Want to SHORTEN their Lives or Severely COMPROMISE the Latter Half of their Lives by Using PED's in the Pro Careers, Fuck It, Let Them... You'll Never EVER Rid the Sports World of PED's, so the Only TRUE Way to "Level the Playing Field" is by ALLOWING PED Use... REED:hammert:
I think they should be allowed too, at least in some organizations. I like the model used in bodybuilding. They have natural competitions with strict testing, and they have competitions where anything goes. The natural bodybuilders are tiny compared to Mr. Olympia, obviously. It's still cheating in the UFC as long as it's banned in the UFC. I don't believe everyone in the UFC is a cheater.
I believed Brian Stann when he said he retired because too many fighters are cheating and getting away with it. I don't think he was a cheater personally. You never know for sure, but I think there are lots of good fighters out there who never tried PEDs in the UFC.
And Stann is a great example if he is clean. Two of the loses in his last 4 fights were against acknowledged cheaters in Silva and Sonnen. If you're a clean fighter and are forced to compete with guys who are CLEARLY benefitting from the use of PEDS, it has to be difficult to stay motivated and remain in the sport.
Agreed Trplsec. One one hand I get what REED is saying, if everyone is cheating it's a level playing field etc, but the thing is you shouldn't HAVE to fucking cheat just to be on a level playing field. For the guys or gals who are adamently against PEDs out of principle, or simply don't want to risk pumping their bodies full of hardcore drugs, with god knows what long term effects, they are fucked. They are automatically at a fundamental disadvantage to their opponent. So yeah, if it was possible, boxing and MMA would be better clean, then we'd know for sure all fights were fair, and better for the athletes' health etc too, surely.
Apparently Jones made it one night in rehab before he quit and left. Lol. If you're going to go to rehab for show, you're supposed to stick with it for more than one night. Hopefully it was all just for show and not because he has an actual addiction.
It would seem like it. I did coke for 5 years before I quit. No rehab or anything; I just quit. I had to actually want to quit to make it happen. It would seem like Jones was never serious about rehab. Maybe he's an occasional user and thinks he has it under control. I just don't see the point of going and quitting after a day unless it was a PR decision.
