I see a word in this one's future, and it rhymes with meaty okra.

Why should I be excited about Ant Man? That shit belongs with The Mask and Howard the Duck.

this has been a troubled production since 2006 when writer/director started working on a screenplay. After production started last year Wright had to leave and the film went without a director until Peyton Reed took the job and major rewrites were done. While I also 'don't feel it' in this trailer, I trust that Marvel will deliver a fairly entertaining film. Just last year I was groaning about what an awful idea was making a movie about a walking tree and a talking raccoon in space and that Guardians of The Galaxy was going to be a box office bomb. Well, I ate my words after watching that highly entertaining, most successful film of the year! So I'll give this one the benefit of the doubt and maybe later there will be a more 'exciting' trailer.

Just keep in mind that Ant-Man will become an Avenger and they just want to show his origin here instead of wasting time in a future Avengers film.

Oh and mark my words. When Kirk Douglas Dies, Michael Douglas will come out of the closet.

I always had suspicions 'bout Michael Douglas. His Liberace portrayal reminded me more about himself than Liberace.

I know!!! But watch every movie he has been in since that Liberace movie. He is sounding and acting more queer than I have ever seen. Almost like that movie just opened the closet door right up for him. Listen to him in this trailer. He sounds gay.

Nah man. He sounds real light right now. I liked him a few movies.

Wallstreet, Falling down, Black Rain & Disclosure might be my favorites. But he aint on his father's level imo.

Same thing with Mark Hamill. For the last ten years or so his voice and gestures sounds very queer.

Another guy I always thought had that kind of voice... not quite flaming, but slightly effete

John Ritter sounded a lot more queer than either of them but he was straight

he was just soft. But he has always sounded like that. Douglas only started sounding like that after that liberace movie. It's like he forgot to turn off the method acting

Traffic is easily my favorite movie of his not counting my teenage love affair of Romancing the Stone back in the day. Special shout out to The Ghost and the Darkness too.

Michael Douglas aint a queer. He's a notorious womanizer who caught HPV from some whore, which probably contributed to his cancer.

Kevin Spacey is a queer, but everybody already knows that, and nobody really cares cause he's a brilliant actor.

Ant-Man forget the 78% score on rottentomatoes: this film is one of the most FUN movies Marvel has made. Many critics bashed it based on the stupid premise of 'the Edgar Wright version could have been great'. They just needed to focus on THIS ONE, not the one that didn't make it (which per reports is pretty much this same story). Paul Rudd was the perfect choice for Scott Lang as much as Robert Downey was the perfect choice to play Tony Stark. Contrary to recent Marvel offerings, the plot doesn't revolve around a mystical powerful gem nor the fate of mankind was at stake. It was a refreshing heist film with a superpower twist. The shrinking scenes are excellent and the humor permeates through out the whole film without falling into the comedy or campy trap (the direction Wright supposedly wanted to take thus the 'creative differences' with Marvel for his departure). I was impressed with the opening scenes CGI rejuvenation of Michael Douglas who looked realistic, like if they brought him back from 1989 to make that scene! Bravo! The audience at the theater I watched the film cheered, laughed and clapped through out the run of the movie. It is indeed a crowd pleaser and I hope it gets enough word-of-mouth to become the hit it deserves to be. The hints at future adventures with the Avengers were nice touches too. I loved this film. 8/10
