How would you rank him among puertorican greats?

    The best, without a doubt.

I have no interest in seeing such a bout again... He won't win anyway

I don't see how Cotto can win. And the image of Floyd winning a middleweight title beating Cotto is kinda boke inducing.

i think cotto can win a rematch

Woulda meant more had he done it the first time around. If he wins now I have to attribute it to Floyd slippage which would also be evident in Floyd's last two outings. So I don't even think it would put Cotto over Tito.

Of course it fucking would

Who has Tito beat? He got schooled by every elite fighter he faced. His best win is Vargas.

I think it would, but I would never pick him head to head against Trinidad.

Floyd is already coming out of hiding...stating the usual dribble that doesn't explain WHY he won't fight Pacquaio.

"He already agreed to everything. He can't. He is a pawn. He doesn't have a promotional company...He doesn't have a say so"

He has a say so in that he wants to fight you Floyd. He has a say so that he SIGNED a contract. He has a say in that he believes if you guys lace up you LOSE.

Pacquaio beat Cotto from pillar to post. Come on man! Beeachat! Sign the contract!

[h=1]If you really care about the fans, you will fight. If you care about yourself... you won't fight. #MannySmile[/h]I can easily beat @FloydMayweather, I believe that.

Everyone had me as a big underdog to @OscarDeLaHoya too. If @FloydMayweather fights me boxing will get an even bigger upset victory.

I already watched it. Was okay, but too long and failed to show or mention the two KO defeats of his early career. It starts and ends with the last Marquez fight.

No version of Trinidad would ever stand any chance with any version of Mayweather Jr. we've seen to date. Floyd shuts him out easily.

Probably but i'd love to see Mayweather give Trinidad a few free shots like Mayorga did.

Maybe........but just about any version of Trinidad beats just about any version of Cotto from pillar to post. Don't know how anybody could dispute that.

Cotto is insanely over-rated around here.

a young welterweight trinidad would punch holes in this current version of mayweather jr.

Agreed, it would be an utter mismatch, size difference wouldn't matter one bit, he wouldn't lay a glove on Floyd.

You can beat Tito with a jab and basic journeyman defense, just imagine what Floyd would do to him, he'd school the absolute shit out of him.

154 version of Tito chases FMJ out the ring! Any version of Tito sends Cotto into retirement.

I would favour Mayweather but it would be nowhere near this one sided 12-0 scenario.

its no coincidence cotto hasnt fought below 154lbs since that 145lbs horse shit

    And Floyd is clean? lol

I don't know what terrifies Mayweather the most, the one punch ko of Hatton, the stoppage of Cotto, or the demolition of a 20lb heavier man in Margarito while slashing his eye.

FLOYDCOTT in full force if they announce anything other then what the public want them to announce. :partie:

Haven't you heard? Trinidad was a Bobby Pacquaio-level fighter

Marginally better than Bobby Pacquiao, but yes, point taken.

Trinidad had problems with movers, even more so towards the latter third of his career, but was always in tremendous shape, provided a lot of pressure that persuaded the judges against Oscar, and with lesser fighters he displayed power with devastating left hook, and decent power on the right.

He was better than Bobby by a WIDE margin IMO...
