That excuse was always a joke. And I can't believe people actually got behind that and continue to get behind that.

Team Pacquiao has agreed to all terms on more than one occasion for this fight to happen and Floyd continues to duck Pac. It's embarrassing, really.

 

It is something else indeed. I find it too hard to believe that even the biggest Flomos truly believe that joke of an excuse.

There is one reason this fight has not happened and it's FLOYD MAYWEATHER... He has conjured up every excuse in the book and has made it clear he doesn't wanna fight this guy and it's just clearer and clearer by the day.

I'd be curious to know (and Arum would never reveal this) how much money Top Rank makes from having Manny's fights in China. There must be a shit ton of money in the Asian market. If this is true, that shows the stupidity of Floyd harping on US PPV numbers. That's precisely why Hatton wound up making more money than Floyd despite having a lower guarantee. Hatton had a smaller US PPV cut while Floyd got none of the UK PPV money.

Seems like I recall reading that Hatton was guaranteed $10 million to Floyd's $20 million but picked up $10-$15 million in UK PPV money. At the time Mayweather-Hatton was the best selling UK PPV event at 1.2 million buys. Not sure if that still stands.
