Where are Jesse and Al for this travesty? No where to be seen, that's where. Why can't there be a White Sea? Just more Hollywood propaganda trying to homogenize our cultures into a great big body of water. Black victimization run amok is what it is. Of course the typical characters here will blame it on white privilege. - Irish2001
Rotten Tomatoes gave it an average rating of 6.6/10 with 84% of critics liking it versus 64% of audience members that scored it meh.
Go with the 84% of critics who liked it. It's a damn good movie. Who gives a shit what audience members like? Are these fuckers scoring The Boy Next Door as a good movie? I won't even waste my time CONSIDERING seeing that movie. Black Sea is worth watching. I promise. It's NO LOWER than a 7.5/10.
LOL. Considering it was a Brit-centered movie, I don't think Hackman would ever be right for it. Jude Law did a damn good job in this movie. No, I'm not saying Law is anywhere NEAR Gene Hackman as an actor. But he was better for this particular movie, and once you watch it you'll see why. I guess you must be thinking of Crimson Tide. Hackman was PERFECT for that movie. A great movie, mainly due to both Hackman and Denzel being at their bests.
