Not really. I said. I dont know what that means but... and then went on to talk about something else. You then went on to continue. and out of respect for you i reciprocated. I could have easily told you to fuck off with that bit of trivia, but i didn't, again out of respect for you.

Anybody catch that tracking shot at the end of episode 4? That scene would have made Scorsese proud.

It was good. Have you seen the Tracking shot from Children of Men or the Protector? I cant find the children of men one but the protector was pretty impressive.

Never saw this one. A few half whiffs in there, but it's pretty ballsy even making the attempt. Some incredible stunt-work in there to. Nice to fully see an action fight scene without a million little cuts to make a character seem more bad-ass then he really is, even if it is really effective sometimes.

Call it the Jason Bourne/Liam Neesons effect.

I know I've seen the "Children Of Men" shot, but I don't quite remember it right now.

"Atonement" had an incredible tracking shot, but I despised nearly the rest of that film.

Just watched first four episodes, back-to-back on Sunday.
Yeah, it's pretty good....not sure I'd call it groundbreaking or anything like 'unmissable' - clearly McConaughy and Harrelson being the difference in that, its not often (if at all) you get big, active name stars like these two in a network TV series.

I was hooked 10 minutes in. McConaughey (damn first name I had to spell-check) is awesome. Watched the episode with the tits yesterday. :bears: Goddamn, although they are already fighting the inevitable battle with gravity.

    Just finished it up.

Good show, more of a mini-series I guess. Really enjoyed it.

I'll go against the grain here and say Woody Harrelson deserves a lot more credit then he's gotten for this show.

McConaughy is great no doubt, but his character, and McConaughy himself is a bit of a one trick pony..............though a very charismatic one, and of course he gets all the best lines.

Woody actually had to give his character a bit of nuance and subtlety. He had to go through emotional changes throughout the show. McConaughy, just had to smoke a lot, and be.............well, McConaughy.

Woody was good, but in the end he is just woody too. I never seen McConaughy play this type of character before. Overall, the whole show was just terrific.

Watched episode 1 last night. Wasn't exactly blown away, but acting is good. I don't really like the whole "present" aspect of it. Feels like how I met your mother...might watch episode 2 tonight...will let you know if I like it any better.

I don't know, I mean he wasn't shoving a chicken drum stick in and out of Gina Gershon's mouth or anything, but I thought it was a very McConaughy type performance.

Still great, don't get me wrong, but I thought Woody had the harder role.

Somebody must be watching Season 2. Figured I'd give this thread a jumpstart, though it might not go anywhere. This season is a brutal mess. None of it is the actors fault that I can see, just a poorly designed clusterfuck of a plot and some horrendous dialogue. Big loss with last years director jumping ship and giving the writer (Pizzolato), the reigns to the show.

It started off fairly promising, but after the 1st few episodes has just gotten worse and worse.
