Mayweather wins in pretty much the same fashion as the last time. I don't care to see it and would rather he fought Khan but it looks the most likely to happen.
Also, I had said for many years that Cotto would give mayweather jr a tougher fight than Pacquiao would
If somehow Mayweather aged and Cotto got younger since the last time they fought maybe this would be interesting. To the best of my knowledge this hasn't happened.
I think Cotto would give him a harder fight now than the first time. At least based on the mayweather i saw on Saturday.
He is the 160 pound lineal champ. Gave May a tough fight the first time and may is a lot slower now. Many people are asking for this fight.
I want to see IT....Cotto can only improve from his first fight....n this time he has ROACH in his corner...ff:HATE the fact that Cotto will be fighting Jizz..or Gease whatever his name...in JUNE...i doubt he will be ready for September...or MAYBE it will work...stay active kinda thing...june fight should be easy....take a week off...start prepin for Maywather in September.....no lonnngggg layoff.
In their first fight Cotto totally ignored to attack the body. If he changes that aspect he can give Floyd a harder fight than the last time. But he needs to really impress against Geale, who unlike him is a real middleweight.
At this point, the biggest threat to pbf is youth and energy (that and some height, speed and power). If such a combination existed right now at 147, you can bet pbf won't give him the time of day. Khan may be the closest there is. If it is Cotto, he will be negotiating from a favorable position because presumably, he will have Canelo as an alternative, which means he will be in a position to make some demands, etc.
