Did the PBF V Pac fight make you think more or less of them afterwards?

The fight went as expected hunzy. I said it wouldn't be entertaining for the past several YEARS and dopey cunts like you claimed I just didn't want to see mayweather jr knocked out.

It reminded me of Ray Leonard vs. Roberto Duran III.

A superfight way past it's expiration date that broke all the Vegas revenue records. Hopefully this means Floyd's last fight is at MSG, does horribly at the gate, and gets beat up by a young, hungry lion, like Ray did against the great Terry Norris.

I guess Keith Thurman fits that description?

Haven't watched all of them all the way through, due to the incredibly boring nature of the fight (which at slo-mo is worse), but from what I have seen, it was at LEAST a hell of a lot closer than I intially thought.
PBF did well to avoid the manny of the DLH/Hatton era. The way he fought against this Manny, really does speak volumes as to how terrified he must of been of the Manny of that period.

Round 6 is the best round. Floyd wanted to walk down Manny. Started by throwing quick jabs and standing his ground. After a Pacquaio combination, Floyd went back to thinking, I got to run from this ...hmm box this guy. Mid way through the round, he got a little brave, threw a jab, Pacquaio countered with a left and Floyd lost his mind for awhile. Pacquaio unleashed combinations to head and body. Floyd kept saying no, shaking his head, then went on to hug...box his way to a defeat...hmm victory, yes victory.

Floyd has never fought anywhere but Vegas and will never fight anywhere but Vegas, where he has to be knocked out to lose a round.

After watching the fight closely, Pacquaio was absolutely right. He won the fight and Floyd did zero, nothing.

The only slight positive I can administer for both guys, is Floyd ran better than I expected, and Pacquiao's defense was a lot better than I expected. Which suited the fight to a tee

As much as Manny has slipped in recent years, the one thing that has got better is his defense.

The slomo really helps to appreciate the subtly of pac's defense.....the efficient way in which he slipped punches....

Live by it die by it. Replays like those make it look like Bradley beat Pacquiao in their first fight.

Damn. From these slow mo replays, Floyd really is a dirty cheating running faggot. Nothing lands at all. Lots of elbows, pushing, headlocks, clinching hitting and holding, and running away. Total f*cking faggot. Overrated f*ck.

Damn Neil. Fraud getting KTFO would've been better for his rep than this faggoty chickensh*t bitch style he displayed against Pacman. You can see by the reactions of our 3 beloved black members on FightBeat (sly, reed, dawg) that even they cannot stick around to support closet homos like Fraud.

If he'd just stuck his chin in the air and let Pacquiao hit him like a man, Floyd would've totally lost that fight. As it is if you combine these judges scorecards and every possible permutation thereof alongside the slow motion replay showing that Floyd missed a punch, and the alignment of the stars on the date of Pacquiao's birth multiplied by Avogadro's number, Pacquiao totally won that fight. In fact he actually knocked out Floyd in the 6th round, but the Vegas judges gave him a slow count. And considering that this was a 900 year old Pacquiao with a broken shoulder and doubtless non-optimal socks, we can safely conclude that 5 years ago Pacquiao would've knocked Mayweather Jr into an alternate universe where Pac fans didn't make excuses for the fact that he is about 1% as good at boxing as Floyd Mayweather Jr.

I disagree with the assertion that getting knocked out would have improved the rep of mayweather jr.

Running away certainly didn't help his rep. There was a firestorm of sh*t directed his way for that performance. The only guys who liked that sh*t were Lennox (no surprise since he did the same in many fights) and Jim Lampley (because Fraud's cock is deep in his ass for some reason).
If you notice, our 3 black members have basically left the forum. Since when did you ever see our regulars just disappear from the site after a megafight? After most huge fights you'd have action on the forum for weeks and weeks. Sly was a very disappointed man and there's nobody who defends Fraud more than he does. That was a phenomenally chicken sh*t performance.

I thought that too. He actually +out-cutseyed" PBF at times. PBF tried to make it look like he landed at times where he got slipped & countered.
I have to take back my assertion that Manny was ingenuine in claiming that he won the fight. There may be a case to be made that he actually did.
As I said before, it definately shows PBF did well to avoid Pacman as long as he did, & that he must of been terrified of him back then.

If anybody hasn't seen the fight and are curious they can just be shown that link to save them a lot of time.

If i worked for a TV station i'd advertise that we were showing the fight replay. I'd put this on instead.

When I scored it live I had it a draw, but made the point that so many rounds were incredibly close and so few were clear that I wasn't confident of the accuracy. They are both very fast guys too so it's hard to see the scoring shots. I'm not surprised at the score disparity with the judges because of that, people see different things.

Another point about scoring, you gotta share your eyes with both fighters......if you just watch Pac, all you see is Pac getting hit and vice versa....you need to flick the eyes between fighters constantly. I wager the guy scoring 118-110 was just watching Pac most of the fight.

Fraud fights in a way to give the impression that his sh*t is actually effective. Reminds me of when DLH would throw some useless flurry and try to steal rounds that way, despite f*ck all landing.

It's so awful how hard Roy and Lampley were riding Fraud's cock during that fight.

I think Lennox reeled off 3 different times during the broadcast with his words of wisdom; "If you can't catch it...you can't hit it".
Like it was the most intellectually stimulating thing in the world. F*cking twat

With Lewis, you get the feeling he's not really into boxing. And maybe that's why his commentary seems so forced and cliche.

That's exactly what I do Punk; Watch one guy only, then the other, then both together. I also keep a second by second "tally"-O.K, right now PBF's ahead-Manny just scored 2 so now he's edging the round", etc...

Yep. Whoi can forget DLH's flurry at Pernell?. PBF does that "raise the RH he's just thrown up for a second", as though he's just made significant contact.
