    Those takedowns were meaningless. It will be a robbery if the judges give it to Alvarez on takedowns alone. He didn't do any damage or come close to submission attempts from those takedowns.

    I wish this had been a 5 round fight.

    If Eddie's eye didn't close, it would've been a much better fight. He was fighting half blind so he had to fight a safe fight.

    Melendez didn't do anything to win that fight.

    Thought Gil edged it, but dont have any problem with the decision.

    The fight was there for both of them, but neither grabbed it.

    Would like to see a re.

    I would like to go back and rewatch the 2nd round, but the main event is coming up. I won't feel like rewatching it afterwards knowing Alvarez won.
