Guy is 38 and just came off Canelo, Maidana x2, and Pacquiao. Not surprised.

mayweather jr vs berto would be a much better fight than mayweather jr vs pacquiao. and berto would land more meaningful punches than pacquiao did

Could Mayweather just be throwing those two names out there to get people talking, then when he actually announces his next fight/opponent it's not actually those two guys?

Yeah, I find it too hard to believe it's either of those scrubs.

Didn't he do something similar recently? Either before he fought Guerrero or Maidana the first time.

word. With Maidana he floated a few names around, including Khan.

Floyd should retire. The only viable fights left for him are a Cotto rematch at 160lbs or a Canelo rematch, if Canelo fights and beats Cotto.

He's not going to fight GGG (and neither should he) so I don't see the point of him fighting any more.

Well he'd get sparked out for sure. So he should from a haters perspective. But from a Floyd perspective, if he wants to preserve his legacy and not make the same mistake Roy Jones made by fighting on too long, he should retire now.

But it would improve his legacy if he beat Golovkin so he surely should take it.

He'd get streeeeetttccchhheed! Floyd of 5 to 10 years ago would have stood a great shot of beating the GGG of today, IMO. He was fast and elusive and had good whiskers. Now? He'd be knocked out.

I'd quite like to see Floyd-Cotto 2 at '160lb'. Thatd be a good cash out fight for both guys

Cotto can't make 160. He;s not a middleweight, you haven;t been keeping up with the Peso Al Peso saga of Miggles "Anorexia" Cotto.

I'm hoping he fights Berto. Berto isn't good at all, and he has no shot in Hell at winning, but he's always given us exciting fights and deserves a big payday.

Khan is a cunt, and doesn't deserve the payday. His faggot ass should fight Brook.

TBH I don't think Berto deserves the payday at all, not one bit.

I have nothing against him, and he's given us one decent fight, but he's beaten no one, lost to crap fighters, and simply isn't good enough to deserve a huge fight against Floyd.

Floyd would at least receive massive credit for taking the GGG, even if he lost.

I think he was just joking about those Berto or Mayfield. He'll likely face Khan.
