someone got in mayweather jr's ear regarding negotiating tactics because it seems there is a method to his madness. these guys he faces in between big fights end up taking a pretty low purse. guerrero, maidana, etc. he's leveraging khan and the guy has no alternative. delahoya had all the leverage at one point but still ended up paying opponents more money.

Broner vs Berto would make for a good PBC card.

Fraud F*ckweather Jr will be finished in boxing in the next 2 years (He'll take a fight against a scrub, retire for 9 months, come back and face another scrub and then retire again and then go to prison for 2 years and will have lost 60% of his fortune, and then contemplating another comeback which falls through because nobody wants to see the faggot in a boxing ring. Nobody will remember or care about Fraud F*ckweather Jr.
He's no legend of anything. Just a faggot fairy b*tch.

Fuck weather has indeed exhibited faggotry in many of his performances. I'm actually surprised he hasn't received more criticism for his blatant running and pussy tactics in the pacquiao fight. Here he is against a guy visibly smaller than him and he runs from him all night. And the latest concensus on the fight seems to be that pbf clearly won? At some point, the fact pbf continues to win has to be weighed against the shameful manner in which he does so. And by the way...when he's not running from his opponents (maidana) he's requiring them to wear certain unthreatening gloves.

Most of those guys were shot or way past their prime. You actually think Oscar, Shane, Cotto were anywhere near their primes? Hatton and Marquez were out of their weightclass and Pacman was already shot and injured. No surprise Pacman had no knockouts in years.

Hanzi let it go.....Floyd has one of the best resume of the last 15-20 years.......did he not fight one or two guys that we would have love to see him fight again....YES...did he fight a few guys TOOO late YES...but that happens to every fighter....

I don't know who is worse...the people who complain about Floyd resume or the people who complain about Floyd being a RUNNER....I don't know how you can run and land 55% of your pounches...

55%... he didn't land 55% against pacquiao. Not by a long-shot. Plus, compubox..whatever it is.. is bullshit when it comes to pbf...that's been demonstrated. He's a darling of theirs evidently..

Pacquiao beat them all easier than Fraud with the exception of Marquez. But then again, I'm not going to gloat and say Pacman beat them in their primes either. DLH was shot to sh*t by then and was only boxing for money.

Pbf and his style are so obviously susceptible to taller fighters and pbf has managed to avoid a single taller opponent since odh....so maddening....

Sad thing is, pacquiao threw a few really mean hay - maker counters .... we'll conceived and would've been devastating.. and almost as if by luck....pbf avoided them by the smallest of margins....

I know it seems crazy but I really would like to see pbf/pacquiao.. seems like a situation where pacquiao could really improve on his performance whereas from pbf we would get more of the same...thing is, pac's speed and lack of telegraphy really had pbf spooked. For that reason alone it was interesting to watch. I see why most don't want a rematch though.

    GREAT fight IMO.

Berto is not to be taken lightly at all! He might not be that YOUNG of a lion now but he is a HUNGRY lion and a champion.

Floyd will have his work cut out for him BIG TIME! I hope Floyd can pull this off!!!

Have you found any of the opponents pbf chose objectionable? Or have you been happy with every one?

Compubox in general can be really off, I take it with a grain of salt no matter who is fighting

I mean it had Tony Thompson beating Wladimir Klitschko in their first fight, Oscar landing 260 punches on Tito, Tito landing 160 on Oscar, Floyd landing over 200 on Oscar and Oscar over 120 on Floyd. Only way they landed that many punches is if they count punches to the air and gloves as landed punches.

Yep, I don't take it seriously at all. The most ridiculous recent stat was they had Plasterito landing 12 powerpunches a round against Pacquiao

I actually got an email from their employer once and he told me that often they have to sit 100 ft from the ring or use nothing but a screen and there usually is one person trying to count all the punches landed by one fighter (trying to decide if they landed or not and also if they were power punches or not).

We saw from the earlier amateur scoring system how one guy could score a fight 24-18 while the other had 9-6, and these guys sat at ringside, trained for their profession and were in fights that were fought at crawling pace for five two-minute rounds. That should tell you everything about the compubox.
