Both could BANG! On one hand you have textbook, poetry in motion, economical precision and on the other you have fearsome wild swinging brutality. Foreman, bigger, stronger and with the better chin and so, on paper, in the battle of the bangers he should win. BUT...it's not that simple. Louis didn't waste punches and would be the far stronger of the two if the fight goes beyond 5 rounds. The question is: would it go beyond 5 rounds? I can see Louis staying in the pocket and getting in his compact precision missiles inside Foreman's wild arcs. It'll be similar to De La Hoya vs Mayorga in that regard. Some will say "Foreman was lightyears better than Mayorga"...and I would agree, but Louis was also much better than De La Hoya in terms of technique, two fisted power, precision and infighting. As such, the comparison is a wash. Louis weathers the storm, keeps Foreman honest and knocks him out in 10 rounds.
I really like Louis, my 2nd favourite heavyweight behind Tyson. I love his perfect, precision punching technique. But dunno, I think Foreman is just too big and strong.
