From these trailer I can see that Hollywood is not the only place where they mess with the original source and change stuff. The plot of both the graphic novel and the anime tv series unfolds somewhere in the land formerly known as Germany, the buildings look German, the characters have German-like names and most of them are Caucasians with only a 'handful' of Asians that survived including the second main character 'Mikasa' who was raised by Eren Jaeger's dad when she became an orphan. Well, here ALL the characters are Asian, the buildings don't look European and even the 'Titans' look oriental I just hope this film is a success so Hollywood can do a bigger budget film with mostly Caucasian actors and a token Asian as 'Mikasa'...just like the original story.

 

Okay the movie bombed and is considered one of the worst movies ever made in Japan. Meanwhile the Anime tv series is currently in its final season and we got such a massive storyline twist that has been praised by many, but has disappointed some too. I for one didn't saw that one coming and it changes EVERYTHING we knew about the plot and its characters. Still highly entertaining and there is no way this can be made into a movie.

 

While searching for new episodes of AOT Final season in AnimeDao, I discovered Uzaki-Chan Wants to Hang Out, which this past summer became the target of the stupid incel Cancel Culture PC loonies who whined that no real 19 year old girls can look like that and its all male fantasy. While we can grant them the male fantasy part, many real petite 19 year olds with epic boobs came out posting photos of themselves to shut the mouths of the PC police. Uzaki-Chan won! Compelled by curiosity about the popularity of this series I checked it and laughed so hard that my stripes hurt. One of the best animated comedies I have ever watched. The plot centers on a 20 year old college student Sakurai who is a loner who enjoys quietness and solitude. His peace is shattered once the petite well endowed Uzaki-Hama becomes a freshman at his college and she decides that Sakurai needs a friend: herself. She is the total opposite of him: very histrionic, loud, manipulative and drags him to outdoor activities. She is also constantly embarrassing him in public with her tantrums that strangers interpret that he is a pervert. No matter what Sakurai says or does or insults her, he cannot get rid of Uzaki annoying him non-stop...while also arousing him. The situations feel real which makes this anime more fun. Kudos to the writers. I recommend checking out the original Japanese version with subtitles since the English dubbed version loses much of its impact with the voice actors used that couldn't deliver the punch it needed.
