    At the end everything matches what he was promised when he first entered the Total Recall place. IMO it was all part of his 'recall' trip and it was a nice tactic of the director to leave us guessing.

    Yeah I would lean towards it being a dream.

    Not in the extremely mediocre remake where it's clearly real, but in the original, it can go either way, and I lean towards dream.

    It seems to be as if too many damn movies nowadays go for the "it's up to the viewer" ending. Not so back in 1990 when TR came out, but recently, it just seems like a fad and just too common. And it's annoying.
