Apperantly you have to have really thin arms. Stick-like and half the girth of your opponent seems perfect for best punching power... :: :jaw:
:: They BOFE look like they are made out of bits of birds anatomy. Kov has a big bill of a chin, the other guy has a hawks nose and a baldy coots head, and kov then finishes it off with sparrow-leg arms.
Of course, none of this detracts from Lampleys thinly veiled comments regarding Klitschkos arms..............."He doesn't have a big back, Max, he just has those big vascular arms, Max. How about those big vascular arms, Max".
There are different ways to generate power. Some arms are like whips, driven by wide backs and with a lead-ball tied to the end of the whip. Others are like mallets, a short arm with a heavy weight driven with less speed but more dead-impact. Others are just whips with no weight which are delivered at speed right onto a vital point, like the chin, liver or solar plexus. Some KO's are just overwhelming salvos that confuse and befuddle a guy and make it look like he is all over the shop. Skinning a cat man, lots of ways to do it...........
The whip is particularly effective when the weight of the fist is artificially enhanced with added tape.
...and Sandy Saddler and Tim Austin and Junior Jones and Kelly Pavlik...There's Definitely SOMETHING to the Tall, Wiry Guy Generating POWER, More than Perhaps ANY Other Bodytype... REED:mj:
If we stood beside these guys our arms probably wouldn't look very big. These guys are lean, not small.
