Two best PR lightweights of all time (ahead of Rosario and Camacho). I'd say that DeJesus was the more dynamic talent of the two, but Ortiz was just very well rounded. Not great at any one thing, but good at everything and very high ring IQ.

    Who wins?

DeJesus was the more special talent. His eye for openings and counter punching was incredible. He was like a sharp shooter. Punched with power too. Ortiz was one of those guys who was a good talent but like you said, not really great at anything. Just good all around.

I like DeJesus via UD. Its a good fight but Esteban is faster and always a good step ahead.

Agree with analysis of DeJesus's strengths but I think Carlos was much smarter

Agreed. DeJesus had more talent, but Ortiz was smarter. Plus, DeJesus wasn't more talented by a HUGE margin. Ortiz wasn't blazing fast and he wasn't a devastating puncher. But he had good handspeed, and his right hand did have power. He had a TERRIFIC left hook to the body.
