Obviously people want GGG to move up in order to get a challenge. But GGG isn't a huge Middlweight, asking him to move up is a little unfair. So let's look at Fellas his size and smaller that may have a chance. ;)

Only one guy I can think of that has the style and skills to possibly beat him.

I wonder if anyone can read my mind.....

I've no idea but the winner of Jacobs-Quillin would certainly be another good opponent at least.

Jacobs, Quillin, Cotto, Canelo, Lara, Lee, Charlo.....if GGG can keep fighting frequently and rack up most of those guys on his resume he can definitely compensate some for lack of top opposition with volume/consistency

We can read your mind. Floyd has zero chance of beating
GGG. Zero. None of these guys at 154-160 has any shot.

In terms of ability, oddly enough I'd give Demetrius
Andrade the best chance IF I believed in his chin, which I
don't. But, Andrade presents Golov more problems than Canelo, that I am sure of.

Those two clowns are a step down from LeMoo. Listen, I admire Jacobs in that he defeated the toughest opponent on Earth, but as a boxer, Jacobs is shit. Golov obliterates Jacobs in 3.

GGG is very good. It'll take a master boxer to beat him. No tough guy or stamina daddy alone can do it.

Floyd would get massacred and I'd laugh every second of it.

I'd love to see it. Floyd Sr. would fear that his son dies, though.

    Y'all don't know boxing.

You guys seem to think that it's just a matter of size. Yes GGG is very good, exceptional even. But consider the style.

Floyd has a longer reach than GGG and has fought taller fighters than GGG before (Oscar and Corrales). GGG is a patient stalker and not a balls to the wall stamina daddy volume puncher. If Mayweather stays mobile, GGG's punch output would drop dramatically from the norm. GGG is an orthodox fighter, "Straight up and down, no special effects" (Copywright Mayweather), and not particularly fast or elusive.

I'd make him a clear favourite over Floyd, make no mistake, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that Floyd takes him. Mayweather is that good.

Floyd would request a 50x50 ring.....if he ever had the balls to face anyone as dangerous as GGG in his prime.

Floyd, upon signing the contract, would pay Nike 50 mil to develop a jet-fueled, rocket-powered boxing shoe to wear.

And Golovkin would have to wear these.

It will be hilarious if this fight gets signed. What will y'all say then?

It will not get signed....it took Floyd 6 years to fight little Manny Pacquiao....the only way Floyd makes it happen is if GGG agrees to come in at 150 lbs...not even 154.

You underrate Golovkin's skills, he's more elusive than you're giving him credit for.

Nah...GGG is the goods. Great fighter, IMO. I'd also make him the favourite to beat Floyd. I'm just saying that Floyd could beat him, not that he would.

It would be insane to count out Floyd. Floyd is one of the best fighters ever and to say someone would be a 10:1 favorite over him is just ridiculous.
