Overall no, but this would be more competitive than Winky's fight with a fat and shot Tito at 160. Mainly because Winky was a different fighter at 154 lbs. He opened up more. Took more chances. That being said, he was a superior fighter to Cotto and he'd still win via competitive but clearly deserved UD.
Cotto couldn't beat TROUT(though it was close fight not the dominance some like to throw around)..southpaw with a jab and virgin defense is just a bad style for everybody especially a guy like Cotto he doesn't let his hands go enough and like to be precise with his punches..
