As for Broner vs Theophane, this is the kind of shit that these Al Haymon fighters are gonna start getting away with. All of a sudden, ANY fight could be a title fight, and anybody can be a champion. If this dude is even half way decent (Doubtful), he beats Broner. But in all likelihood, this guy is no threat, just like all the rest of Broner's opponents are likely to be since he himself said he's gonna fight whomever he "wants to fight." If he had balls, he'd call out Spence since The Truth was the one who brought the bitch out of him in a sparring match, by all accounts. I'd be impressed if he called him out. But he won't.

I went on boxrec...look him up...a loss to Pablo Cano who gave old Mosley and Malignaggi a run/scare a few years ago....he has a Decision win vs. Delvin Rodriguez in 2010.....a decision loss to Danny Garcia.....a decision win vs. Corley in 2008...
For what I've heard several times, Theopane deserved the win against Danny Gift. And since they don't call him Danny Gift for nothin, I don't doubt it.
Nah, I watched the fight a while ago, and while it was competitive, Garcia clearly won. A SD is a pretty shocking verdict.
Just watched his fight with Garcia and I concur that Danny deserved it. Decent fight. Theophane seems competent. That's all that may be needed to whip Broner.
