I don't think Canelo groupies get this though: Assuming he beats Cotto, who ELSE besides GGG is gonna generate Canelo big PPV numbers?

You think casuals are gonna buy Canelo vs the Charlos, Andrade, or Williams?

Saul should be a MAN and fight Golov at the normal fucking middleweight limit.

He's obviously gonna get like a 70/30 split of the purse, and that's fine. He'll need the extra bucks to pay his hospital bills.

What 147 pounders? Thurman, Porter, and Garcia are the only welters who could move up and generate good PPV numbers fighting Canelo, and they're all PBC.

Didn't Canelo vs. Angulo do over 300,000....didn't Canelo vs. motherfucking nobody knows him not even his momma will claims him LARA did 300K???? Neither Canelo or GGG will ever be a PPV star as Pac or Mayweather..I put Canelo roof at the same level as Cotto....400-600K...GGG even LOWER....

but Canelo does NOT need GGG..he doesn't.....it's a fucking Mismatch...but Canelo vs. Rios will do okay on ppv...enough for Canelo to take home 10 mil....

I think Golovkin should just move up. His former victim, Martin Murray, is doing just that, facing Arthur Abraham in November. I think Murray can actually win this and I truly hope he does so Abraham can't milk his "title" for another ten years. Also I think GGG would prove much more by beating DeGale, Jack or even Chudinov than by just sitting on his ass and hoping that Canelo fights him

Geez, at least DLH had the decency to only drain Hopkins 2 lbs for their MW super fight.

What's Canelos excuse going to be when Golovkin agrees to come down in weight?

If he's going to fight those chumps he may as well go back to Europe. Beating them wouldn't impress anyone and no one would look forward to the fights more because of those names. At least Lemoo won impressively on American TV.

Cotto nor Canelo want any part of GGG. Them fight aint going to happen any time soon. What I cant understand is why people are talking as though Alvarez is going to beat Cotto. It's very possible Alvarez will not get passed Miguel Cotto. This is as close as a 50/50 fight then I can remember IMO.

At this point, I wouldn't mind it. Canelo's fan club is gonna become rabid if he wins. They'll overrate him to extremes.

But then again, if Cotto wins, his ignorant groupies are gonna call him the best Rican of all time, when the truth is he's never been in the same league as Gomez, Tito, and Benitez.

    So it's a lose-lose and also a win-win.

But my head still says with confidence that Canelo wins.

See? Even Ricans don't believe in Cotto in this one.

One of my best friends is Rican and he told me today "Canelo beatin that ass!"

Agreed, sad how so many defends this shit. As if $$$ draw didn't received enough advantages in boxing. Now we can add fighting dehydrated opponents on the list.

When has Canelo ever had a pair of bollocks? :scratcher:
His showing against Money proved that.

    Leopard, spots, etc
