Azumah Nelson v Manny Pacquiao

I like this matchup - 130lb - Super-Featherweight - both in their primes.

VERY VERY tough one to pick, but gun to my head Manny's speed tips it in his favor.

 

I agree. I don't think Nelson fought anyone with that amount of handspeed?
I'm just wondering how 'The Professor' works-out Manny's style / speed.

 

I don't see how he does.

In fact, on second thought, the more I think of this matchup Pac is the comfortable favorite.

I think the Pac of the third Morales fight likely stops Nelson late. Offense just too good, and too fast.

 

I'm a huge Professor Nelson fan, but Pacquiao wins this.

 

Nelson was a great fighter at 130, but I'd pick Floyd, Arguello, Camacho, Pac, and Chavez over him at that weight. Which would make him the 6th best junior lightweight of all time.

 

JMM vs Nelson would be interesting.
