Since there's no fights of note this weekend, guess we can start looking towards next week.

    Who wins?

I'm changing my pick. I originally picked Rios in an upset, but I kinda remembered how one dimensional Rios is, and I've changed my pick to Bradley by decsion, whilst having to survive being hurt several times down the stretch.

I know Teddy Atlas is gonna try to have Bradley "boxing" more, but it's just not in Bradley's DNA to carefully box all night, and I don't think at 32 he has the legs to do it all night anymore.

Still, he does have enough of an edge on Rios in quickness and ability that he should be able to outbox him long enough to win a decsion.

    Thoughts?

Bradley by decision. It will probably be close as don't think either of these guys can do enough to show the judges they are on a different level than the guy they're facing.

I think the Bradley of years ago probably had enough footspeed to create a clear separation on the cards, but Braddles doesn't move like he used to.

Bradley via decision in a fight he makes harder than it needs to be.

He'll end up getting into it at times with Rios and it'll cause him some bad moments.

But his superior skills will win the day.

    You're crazy. Canelo can't make 152. He's not a junior middleweight. But he can't go a pound over 155, cause he's not a middleweight.

Canelo-Rios would be a gross mismatch, but it'd also be a huge fight and they'd definitely either make it for Texas, or the Staples Center.

If Rios has anything close the punch resistance he's shown in the past it would at the very least last longer than the Alvarez- Kirkland fight. That had to be ones of the easiest "big" matchups to predict in years.
