Most people are probably going to say Star Wars or Batman vs Superman.

Because I honestly don't know which one I want to see more #1 is a tie.
    1- The Revenant.
1- In the Heart of the Sea
    2- The Big Short

  2. Deadpool

More out of curiosity than from a fanboy-perspective.

  3. Rainmaker

    Rainmaker "Twinkle Toes" McJack

    Star Wars
    Batman vs Superman
    X-men: Apocalypse
    and most Marvel movies

  4. Panchyprsss

    Panchyprsss Clogg's LORD PROTECTOR

The Force Awakens...December 18 seems like an eternity to me...can't wait! I hope the rabid fanboys left some tickets left to watch it on the opening day.

Captain America: Civil War...this one will shit on anything else Marvel has done before.

Deadpool: like Dark Magus said just for curiosity.

And besides the obvious Batman v Superman, X-Men: Apocalypse and Independence Day Resurgence, the one I am most looking forward (and I am amazed no one has mentioned it yet) is Hands of Stone the story of Roberto Duran with Robert DNiro, Ruben Blades and Edgar Ramirez as Duran.

  5. For all his legendary status, Duran isn't well-known with Joe Public.
    Plus, biopics are very hit-and-miss....

  6. Captain America Civil War
    X Men Apocalypse
    Batman vs Superman
    Star Wars
    Spectre

    In that order

I don't have a single fuck to give for Star Wars. Won't see it. Have no interest in it. I know millions of people are fanatical about it, and if you are, it's all good. But it's not my thing.

  10. ILLUMINATI

    ILLUMINATI Roberto Duran

I wanna see this^^^it will probably suck..but the 10 minutes on screen of deadpool was the best part of that wolverine movie.....maybe not I don't remember that movie much...

  12. Uhh...so you're gonna be all alternative and clever and artsy-fartsy like oz 4 oz about a fucking arthouse Western that no-one's heard of. :wack:

What do you give a shit about someone's movie preferences? You're acting like I attacked Star Wars and called it shitty. I said it doesn't appeal to me and never has.

I'm not KNOCKING anyone if it's their thing, but it's not mines.

I've ALWAYS preferred Westerns to Star Wars, and considering DiCarprio rarely stars in a bad movie, I'm sure The Revenant is worth seeing. But some people might love Star Wars and not give a fuck about westerns, and DiCaprio. And that's fine too.

  17. ''In the Heart of the Sea'

Just call it 'Moby-fucking-Dick' and stop being 'clever'...

Some people just don't give a shit about Superhero movies. Especially since half of them are the exact same movie, just with different characters........and sometimes the same fucking characters.

Sure, they're usually well made but at the end of the day nearly all of them are completely forgettable with almost the same story line templates carrying from movie to movie. It's like watching a fucking TV procedural. This is "Avengers - Las Vegas", this is "Avengers - New York", this is "Avengers - San Diego", this is "Avengers - David Caruso Takes Off His Sunglasses After Every Punchline".

Oh, and anything with large groups of robots, transformers, clones, etc., etc., etc., as the main villains/antagonists generally always sucks balls. It's just a special affects trick to make you think more is going on, then actually is, because they can duplicate the same characters over and over and over and over again and don't have to give them any type of complexity.

    Knight of Cups
    Alien: Paradise Lost (Prometheus 2)
    The Free State of Jones
    The Hateful Eight
    The Revenant
    The Witch
    Suicide Squad
    Creed
    X-men:Apocalypse
    Triple 9

  20. The sort of people who don't like't these movies usually force themselves not to like them.

In a desperate attempt to be different or individual.
    Or clever.
    Or immersed in 'Reality'.

I know someone who is exactly like this...refuses to watch anything on the movies that muight involve 'escapism', 'enjoyment' or 'suspension-of-disbelief'.

And she's a cunt, as well.

"Ohhhhhhh no. A man who can crush buildings by looking at them????
    How preposterous.
I'm off to watch 'Mr Turner' or 'Nymphomanic Vol 2' with my high-brow chums"

Fuck off and ask Roman Polanski for his autograph already.

I enjoyed Nymphomanic, but love comic book movies too. I wont watch a slow movie in the theaters. I will watch an action/scary movie in there tho. A movie where i have to actually use my brain, i watch at home. And enjoy doing so.

I hate people who bash something just because the majority like it tho.

  22. word.

I tend to shun such people.

I like all genres of films: realistic "critics pix" type stuff as well as escapism. But people who deliberately turn their noses down at escapism as if they are so mature/deep or whatever are dead to me.

Not saying Nobleart is one of these characters....just saying.

  23. My favorite movies are stuff like:
    The Conversation
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
    Chinatown
    Apocalypse Now
    Jaws
    The French Connection
    Enter The Dragon

Some good, some shit...but at the end of the day I can still get jacked for 'Captain America: Civil War'.

    Why?

'Cos its fucking entertaining and its suspends disbelief.

You cut yourself off from that and start being 'clever', you may as well stop fucking women.

I mean, if that helps you sleep at night.................

  25. I sleep perfectly well.
Even better after tapping someone's wife.

  26. Nobleart

Listen pal, I like Zach Snyder movies. Most "critics" will tell me I'm a piece of shit for doing so.

Probably why I'm looking forward to Superman vs. Batman more then any of the other "Men In Tights" movies coming out. His movies actually "look" different from all the other carbon copy franchise films that are trying to keep continuity with each other.

I'm not sure if I like this more prolific Terrence Malick or not. It's like he realized he's getting old and is just shooting as much footage as he possibly can to try and cull together into "movies". Haven't seen "To The Wonder" yet either.

Well if you havent seen To the Wonder, what movie are you talking about? Tree of Life was terrific. And his next movie after Knights is Voyage of Time, which is simply a documentary with lots of unused footage in space from Tree of Life.

  30. Tree Of Life.

    :bears: Loved it.
