    The Duran fight was in 1982....he was in the prime of his post lightweight campaign....was yet to fight Hagler and Davey Moore. Dude was only 32 a the time. Shiiiiiiiiiiiit.

    Roy Jones was 35 and shit...went up to heavyweight and came back down....never had a good performance again.

    Can't compare the two.

    The two are exactly analogous. P4p superstars on the downslope struggling to rebuild after psychologically shattering losses. calling 1982 Duran 'prime' is a downright bizarre claim btw.

    Age is relative, though.

    After the first Leonard fight, Duran's weight and overall situation got out of control and he lost a lot of motivation to fight. Hence the inconsistent performances afterwards.

    Sly's dislike of Duran is based solely on the fact that EVERY knowledgeable boxing pundit rightfully ranks Duran ahead of his boyfriend all time.
