UFC 193 |Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm

I can't wait to see this.

I think it's a mismatch and won't go to the 2nd but still wanna see

 

Holly seems like a nice girl and because she is a boxer first I like to see that style, thing is.. She is not a puncher
I bet she lands some on Rousey as Rousey leads with her chin...but holly will prolly try to kick and Rhonda will catch it, take her down and arm bar her the first

 

Sadly, I see a mismatch too, in Rousey's favour. Hopefully Holm can keep the fight off the canvas and nail Rousey with strikes and knock her the fuck out.

If Holly was a KO type puncher she'd at least have that shot but she's not. as terrible as Rousey striking is.. and i think it's terrible.. she just does not protect herself while throwing. In boxing this would make you get countered all day but no one in MMA can really counter or box well. Holly will counter but does not have much power IMO. she might make Rousey look like an amateur in an exchange or two and Rhonda will just take her down and it will be all over.

Whitaker looked impressive. I thought Hall would win that fight easily. I was hoping for another fight of the year type fight with Hunt / Bigfoot, but Hunt ended it early.

 

Jedrzejczyk looked impressive too. Not quite Ronda's level of dominance where she finishes every fight, but she's obviously the best in her weight class.

holm looked great. her footwork, ability to use her range and take down defense were all there. having said that, ronda looked awful. she seemed shook from the first punch landed and her balance wasn't all there. not shocked at all that holm won, but i'm surprised by how she was able to dominate the way she did. she made rousey look like an amateur.
