Now that he just beat Hendo again it appears the UFC is looking to make a Silva rematch. What do you guys think of that? Isn't Belfort now consistently fighting better than any other point in his career? Also isn't he supposed to be on the juice? How does he get away with that while a guy like Diaz gets banned?

Yeah and since then he just whipped Benson Henderson's ass in one round in their rubber match and it isn't like Silva is the champ. Did you miss that fight? Also you failed to address any of my questions in the opening post.

Because he isn't consistently anything. He just lost to the champ in an embarrassing fashion and beating Dan Henderson is not some big accomplishment these days. Not sure what juice he is on as his body is looking smaller than ever since trt is no longer allowed. I don't care is silva and Belfort fight again. It will just be another easy fight for silva

Well I thought maybe he had been more consistent. I'm not sure if I even saw the Weidman fight or not but other than that and the first Silva loss I thought he'd beaten pretty much everyone else in front of him lately and even would have beaten Jones if Jones hadn't decided to just let his arm snap. I haven't seen much of Silva since his comeback but yeah I guess it's not really much of an intriguing fight. I was just curious about it because Belfort was my favorite fighter back in the day.

he was beating because because of his TRT use. Once that got taken away, Weidman made him looks like Chump. In thinking about Belfort's level were still high for the weidman fight and i remember weidman calling him out and said he will make him pay.

Since obviously reducing his steroid usage, Belfort was destroyed by Weidman and managed to beat a 75 year old Dan Henderson. The cheating fuck looks like a different person all together since getting busted.

The Romero-Jacare winner clearly gets the next title shot. Personally I'd match Belfort against Tim Kennedy. Or I'd love to see Bisping get a rematch with the non (or less) juiced version of Belfort.

Are Belfort and Machida BFF's or could they be paired? That would a wonderful ass whooping win for Machida.

Even a non-juiced version of Belfort against Silva is better then Silva versus Diaz.

Why? Because both Diaz brothers aren't the same anymore, they seem like they got this loser mentality where they just come in to a fight and go into survival mode without even really trying. I don't know if Belfort is juiced or not, but he still looked strong fast and dangerous in that Henderson fight. I know there are much better matches to put Silva against but this is just the UFC trying to make a big buck on their next PPV because they know that Belfort still has a big following and matching him against Silva would do some good business in that regard.

Did you see the first Silva vs. belfort fight? The diaz vs. Silva fight was much more entertaining.

Yeah I saw it, that was about as fluke a KO as you can get. Hell Belfort did better against a much bigger Jon Jones then he did against Silva. I can't imagine the same outcome happening, but then again Belfort Henderson III was almost the exact same fight as Belfort Henderson II only shorter.

A fluke? The man threw a kick and it landed. Belfort was never and will never be on Silva's level.

I mean fluke as in it was like a 10 damn seconds fight. If even that long.

It wasn't a fluke; it was a masterful finish. Anderson was on a different level compared to everyone he fought in his prime. He saw openings that no one else saw and had the speed and power to exploit those openings.

Roy Jones was the same kind of dominant fighter as Anderson Silva. RJJ beat Hopkins when they were young, then lost to him when he was past his prime. Past prime Vitor might be better than past prime Anderson. You don't know for sure until it actually happens.
