Younger Cotto may have taken more chances and just gotten himself KTFO

Canelo hit old, high mileage Cotto with his BEST shots and Cotto was still standing in the end.

But you mean you tell me hits younger, no mileage Cotto with his best shots, and magically Miggy goes to sleep?

Your Canelo love is becoming comical.

Prime Cotto plain and simple was a better fighter than Crapnelo. Ginger simply outweights him by 15 pounds in the ring. But make no mistake who the better/more talented guy was.

You seem to forget that prime Cotto was stopped by Margarito and older Cotto survived him. I know I know...illegal wraps...but the truth is that older Cotto knew better how to be cagey and stay out of trouble...younger cotto was more reckless. Young Cotto was destroyed by smaller pacquiao too. Let's not PRETEND that young Cotto was this invincible killer and old Cotto is a shell of teh former. I'd pick this Cotto to beat the young version if anything.

Yes, I'm being serious...the smaller Pacquiao actually did stop younger Cotto.

You mean the HOF Pacquiao who actually battered almost everyone who crossed his path?

Yeah, that guy. The smaller guy who was formerly a flyweight and who after that fight got knocked out by a former Featherweight....the same Featherweight they say didn't belong at 147lbs when he fought Floyd. yeah, that guy.

Then why do you put it like it's a shame for Cotto to lose to a smaller man? He was no ordinary small man.

No, it's no shame. Just saying that a younger Cotto was stoppable. Canelo is big and strong and he would have stopped a more aggressive Cotto IMO. The younger unbeaten version of Cotto was more willing to go to war because he didn't know yet that he could be stopped. That's my only point.

Canelo fought a couple of fights below 147 lbs. Not sure he had the experience back then to beat a prime Cotto at those lower weights though.

Cotto was just coming from that massive criminal battery assault from Margacheto with his blocks of concrete wraps. Cotto was damaged both physically and emotionally. Both Pacman & Floyd jumped at the chance of facing a less than prime Cotto. None can take real credit for that as each one accused the other of going for 'leftovers'.

For example....Muhammad Ali stopped a young Foreman. I doubt Muhammad Ali would have stopped the 42 year old Foreman.

In a P4P sense? Not sure, IMO Canelo's biggest advantage over Cotto was his size, thus his ability to take Cotto's best shots.

    :lol::lol::lol:

You lost your damn mind in Canelo love, you really have.

If anybody UNDERRATED Canelo before, you're making him look bad because you're OVERRATING him to epic levels.

And I think we ALLLLLL know why...

Illuminati exposed you yesterday. What you want is Canelo somehow beating Golov, so you can claim Floyd as the GOAT by proxy win.

You're overrated him on some epic shit.

Beats Nigel Benn. Goes the distance with Hearns. Goes the distance and wins rounds off Leonard. Beats younger Mosley. KO's PRIME Cotto (when he failed to KO old Cotto).

It's insanity. He really is not THAT good. And that's not hate, cause he is a quality fighter. But he really ain't that good, especially not historically speaking.

I STILL don't think Canelo would beat prime Vargas, let alone some of these other guys you're mentioning.
