That's what Cotto should've DONE....Canelo isn't doing that..he still has a future in boxing..and he can poop on his uncles in mejico.

5 days to make the GGG fight? BOSS laughs at this. Laughs out loud. This fight will take at least a year to make. Canelo will be doing more shifting than reed.

I will be shocked if they throw Canelo in there with GGG. I think Alvarez got the balls to fight but Delahoya will stop this from happening.

Not a lot of time for them to negotiate. Will take much longer than 5 days.

Speaking of alphabet belts, is Tyson Fury going to drop his IBF belt for an opponent of his choosing (ie. wald pussy re-match or Haye?)

Canelo won't fight GGG....but won't give up the WBC title either...his uncles in the WBC will make him the interim/super/platinum/Adamantium/diamond something champion...at the same time have GGG fight for some other version of the Wbc middleweight title...

Lee might not get past another gypsy in Billy Joe Saunders. Two tinkers might become world champs in the space of a month.

I hope so. I believe Canelo truly wants it. He's a fighter at heart. Disappointing he and his team want the fight at a catchweight though.

    He'll fight him in 2016.

By the way, Floyd beat both Cotto and Canelo and with ease I might add.

Yes but he beat Canelo a whole LOT easier.....12-0...... 11-1...now IMAGINE if Canelo goes on to beat the feared GGG.....that would be a magnanimous victory for FLOYD MAYWEATHER...by Proxy of course...even at 154 he wouldn't fight GGG.

If Canelo beats GGG....it would certainly enhance Floyd's legacy. ;)

But, in all honesty, that's no concern of mine. I'm a fan of both GGG and Canelo.

You must trust the word of The Sly One!

I question if Canelo will fight "any" middleweight, let alone GGG. The guy's strategy is clearly to exploit a Chavez Junioresque size advantage. My guess is he will fight Bradley in order to do so.

REED Can't See the WBC FORSAKING Sanctioning Fees they'd Be Privy To, for EACH of Canelo's Defenses...They'll Be MORE than the Fees GGG Would Reap, for Certain...

The WBC is the belt for Mexican champions. Hard to believe they'd forgo the sanctioning fee. They lost out on $125,000 from Cotto (Miguel's counteroffer to their $300,000 request) I can't see them passing on a Canelo payday whether it's vs GGG or not.

    Basically Canelo's "negotiation" is this:

    1. 155
    2. 80/20 split
    3. No PPV cut for you
    4. Pink trunks and pink Winning gloves for you, I wear Reyes with half the padding
    5. you enter ring 30 minutes before me with a maximum 5 minute warm up. No robe allowed
    6. must be completely dry when first bell rings
    7. maximum of 5 thrown jabs per round, 2 power shots per round. $100,000 fine for each punch over limit
    8. paper mouthpiece

And based on GGG's PPV numbers he has to accept. This is the best deal he can get from Canelo.
