Close fight through 9, but Shane comes on strong down the stretch and pulls it out. Likely scoring a late KD of Ike.

Shane had a history of coming on strong late in big fights, and Ike had a history of fading late in big fights.

True but I think Ike would have jabbed his head off by the time it's late in the fight and have built up too much of a lead. Of course Shane's definitely capable of knocking Ike down.

Ike would been competitive but his style played into Shane's. Like X said Ike had a tendency to tire and it would take more than just his jab to disrupt shane. Ike wasn't as skilled and technically as sound as Forrest. Forrest kept Shane at the end of his jab and killed him with uppecuts and right hands. Can't see the shorter quartey remaining that disciplined to win in a similar fashion.

Even in Ike's BEST performance (IMO his best performance) he got touched up a lot by Espana. I know Sly likes to think of Shane as a bum, but the fact is Mosley at welter had some of the fastest hands of all time, and given how offensive minded Ike was I could see him getting caught with shots he doesn't see.

ANOTHER thing, Forrest wore Mosley down with some great body work. Ike was a head hunter. One of Ike's BIGGEST flaws was that he didn't invest in the body.

I feel like X and Muzse about this.

I think Quartey is in it all the way but Mosley's hand speed and stamina carry the day for him. It's funny, though. I believe on ANY day, that Quartey would beat the living shit outta Forrest and twice on Sunday. But Forrest would always have Mosley's number.

Ike would disrupt Mosleys attempts at boxing from the outside with his jab and when Mosley "power boxed" his way inside Ike would be stronger and time him with heavy punches that move Mosley like he did DLH. Mosley probably comes on late but he'd need something dramatic.

Quartey fades late as always but he still wins, IMO
