Holm / Rousey has to be the upset of the year. Anthony was the only one to predict that here. Hall / Mousasi was an upset, but Mousasi hasn't looked that dominant since he came to the UFC.

I'm not sure how the individual skill awards work. Werdum has the best BJJ in MMA, and he used it to defeat the heavyweight champion of the world. He mostly won the fight with his striking and cardio.

I don't know who to pick for Judo except Rousey. She had 2 title defenses this year including a 14 second armbar win over Zingano. She just got embarrassed in her last fight.

slyystaff picked Holm too I think.

Maia and Jacare also have top level bjj.

Maia and Jacare both have top level BJJ. I didn't expect to see Jacare sub Mousasi so easily.

Werdum has top level BJJ at heayweight, and he's had the most success with it at the highest level. He's the first guy to submit Fedor and the first guy to submit Cain. I'd give him submission of the year just from the importance of that fight, defeating the heavyweight champion and making it look easy.

UFC loves Cain, I hate that they're rematching right away.

Who do you think is the best non-Brazillian bjj guy?

Nick Diaz would have been my answer a few years ago. I can't argue with Jake Shields. He's the only guy I've seen outgrapple Demian Maia.
