Jenning remind me of Peterson, both lookwise and in fighting temperament.

Interesting fight. Ortiz should have finished him by now, though.

Ortiz looked good. Hopefully some good fights can be put together at heavyweight with Wlad now dethroned.

I thought Walters won but it was close. Sosa was really tagging him down the stretch. At one point they had the punch stats on the screen and Sosa landed two or three good shots and the number didn't move. Walters hit him in the arm and got credit for a punch. The punch stats looked pretty out of whack in favor of Walters at the end.

Walters appears to have good, solid power but doesn't appear devastating at 130.

I'd still pick him to KO old, inactive Gamboa but it wouldn't prove much. I wouldn't favor him over the likes of Lomachenko and Uchiyama. But I'd pick him to beat Pedraza, Vargas, Salido, and Martinez.

Impressive win for Ortiz considering he was obviously sick as fuck. I didnt have a huge problem with the Walter Sosa draw. It shouldn't have been, but many rounds were close and I felt it was appropriate reply to the heavily biased commentating.

Ortiz has more natural talent, but the intangibles favor Fury, I think.

Ortiz is not an explosive guy like an Anthony Joshua. He's a pretty methodical counter puncher who likes to fight at range and then close down. I honestly don't think he will be able to beat Fury. Fury with his feints, jab, and herky jerky rhythm will thrown off Ortiz and have him reaching out with missed shots all night long.

I like Ortiz. I think he's very good. But Fury is all wrong for him, I feel.

I feel the same. Ortiz is good, but he would lose a wide ud. Fury jab and legs would make it hard for ortiz to land his bombs

Heavyweight division is suddenly very exciting IMO. Reminds me of the early 90s excitement with Bowe, Lewis, Morrison, Mercer and Seldon all undefeated. You have Wilder, Fury, Joshua, Ortiz and that Kiwi...plus you have Haye potentially in the picture. When the smoke clears and the dust settles we should have a dominant young exciting champion.

I hear you but its not the undefeated young blood making it exciting its the lack of the clinching robot holding the titles hostage that has breathed new life in the division.

I don't think of Fury as an elite talent, but his size, length, awkward style, and UNWAVERING self belief will be a tall order for any of today's heavyweights.

I did his style far from graceful or artistic, but I could see the frustration he causes to opponents. He gets in his opponents heads and breaks them down mentally.

Wlad is not the most mentally strong guy, but I have to admit I laughed my ass of at just how TERRIFIED he was of a guy who wouldn't just go with the flow and die.
