This is a very good and intelligent point. Circular evidence at its finest

DeJesus is seen as one of the best lightweights in the history since he beat Duran. Duran is the best lightweight ever because he beat such a great fighter twice. I mean come on

The same probably happens with other fighters too but it seems that with Duran it is more common. Hasim Rahman isn't a great name in Lennox' resume even though Rahman knocked out a heavyweight legend

We live in an era where millions of casual fans think Floyd is the best fighter of all time, and Sly thinks DURAN is the overrated one?????

Esteban DeJesus is actually quite underrated. Never got into the hall of fame.

Some casual fans may overrate Floyd but hardcore fans overrate Duran (and underrate Floyd). Duran beat ONE elite fighter, ONE.

Tarver beat an Elite fighter, Rahman beat an elite fighter, Randy Turpin beat an elite fighter, Buster Douglas beat an elite fighter. What....those guys are the GOAT too?

    Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!

Those of us who actually follow boxing (and not just follow Floyd, like yourself) have seen DeJesus fights BESIDES his win over Duran.

DeJesus was an excellent fighter. Very skilled, very good counterpuncher, power in his left hook. Was only dominated once in his prime, and it wasn't even by Duran - it was by Cervantes.
